Carlos Clay Cochran

Carlos Clay Cochran, 88, of Beaver, formerly of Ona, WV, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019.
Born August 18, 1931 in Beckley, he was the son of the late John and Myrtle Cochran. Carlos was a retired principal for the Cabell County Board of Education. He was a member of Cross Point Church of God and a U.S. Army veteran. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Gwinn Cochran; son, Eric Cochran of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Carla Hunter and husband Mark of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Bradley, Nicholas and Shea Cochran, Carli Moss, Dr. Kristin Kroll, Katherine Pope and great-grandchildren, Cailyn, Sydney, Jack and Anna Marie.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Cross Pointe Church of God, 110 Crescent Rd, Beckley with Pastor Vondie L. Cook, II officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Par. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr, Beckley, WV 25801
