Brock Reice Shumate, stillborn son of Chad Daniel and Alexandra Christine Mitchem Shumate went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Brock was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Billie Jean Shumate, Margaret and Lloyd Cochran, Larry Lively, Paul Mitchem, Mable Hedy Williams and an uncle, Brad Shumate.
Besides his parents Brock is survived by a brother, Aiden Mitchem; grandparents, Tim Mitchem, Lora Lively, Grag and Pam Shumate, Debra Shumate; uncles, Timmy and his wife Amanda, Derek Mitchem, Jacob Mitchem and Dustin Shumate; great grandparents, Felix and Judy Shumate; great aunts and uncles, Scott and Karla Long, Susan Hargett and Mark Shumate and numerous other family.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Tacy-Evans Family Cemetery on S. Sandbranch Rd. Pastor Vondie Cook, II will officiate the service.
