Bobby Charles Lewis, 88, of Beckley passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
Born February 27, 1931 in Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Arthur O’Dell and Hazel Judy Lester Lewis.
Bobby was a former mining electrician retiring from Eastern Associated Coal. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Lewis and a brother, Bill Lewis.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Dorothy June Head Lewis; sons, Bobby Charles Lewis, Jr. and wife Brenda of Kingsport, TN, Rodney Lewis and wife Linda of Glen View, WV; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with his son, Bobby and his grandchildren, Tim, Brian and Jonathan officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until service time.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Lewis, Brian Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Eric Korn, Matthew Johnson, Travis McReynolds.
