Betty Kelley

Betty Lee (Cole) Kelley age 83 of West Carrollton passed away on Saturday December 12, 2015. Betty was born on March 15, 1932 in Coal City, W.V. to the late Ira and Pauline (Emmert) Cole.

Betty graduated from Concord University and was a teacher for 6 years at Coal City Elementary School in West Virginia and 34 years as a teacher at H.V. Bear Elementary School in Miamisburg, OH.. Betty was a member of the Coal City, West Virginia Eastern Star and the Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Joey Kelley in 2008 and 2 brothers-in-law Glen Kelley and Bill Graham.

Surviving is her husband of 58 years Joe Kelley, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kelley of Miamisburg, 2 sisters Barbara Kelley and Sue Graham both of Coal City, West Virginia, 3 grandsons Landon, Gavin and Grayson Kelley; nieces, Karen Lane, Gaynell Bartleson, Kelli Carrico and her children Katie, Emma and Grcie; nephews, David Lane, John Roger Blackburn, Robert Kelley. and special friends Cyndi and Pat (Peach) Schweickart.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Clarence Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorial contributions are asked for the American Heart Assoc. in Betty's memory.
