Arshad Uzaman Nasiri

Arshad Uzaman Nasiri, a loving husband, father and grandfather, of Beckley, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 peacefully at home.
Born October 12, 1937 in Pakistan, he lived and studied in Great Britain. He graduated from the University of Cardiff in Architecture and forged a successful career working in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He retired in Beckley, WV in 2005 with his wife to be closer to his daughter’s and son’s families.
He is survived by his wife, Farida Nasiri of Beckley; daughter, Sabah Jafary and son-in-law, Hassan Jafary of Beckley; son, Shiraz Nasiri and daughter-in-law, Mariam Nasiri of Tampa, FL and jointly by seven grandchildren, Haseeb, Hamza, Hamid and Jafar Jafary and Danya, Deen and Daamin Nasiri.
A well traveled, jovial and respected member of the community, he was loved by many and will be missed by many more, including the Jafary family and the local community. Thank you for your support during this time and thank you to the ARH Emergency Department.
