Alvah Mickey Sizemore

Alvah “Mickey” Sizemore Jr., 70 of Beckley, WV crossed to his Heavenly Home on December 1, 2018 in Beckley. He was the son of the late Alvah Sr. and Eva Jane (Phillips) Sizemore. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson, Bruce Hatfield, stepdaughter, Connie Adkins, granddaughter, Michelle Daniels and 11 brothers and sisters.
Mickey was a retired coal miner last working as a Fire Boss at Herndon,WV. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Kitty (Lewis) Sizemore, Children: Jeffery (Julie) Belcher, Angie Hargrove and husband, all of Nashville, TN. Daughters, Mikki Bliss Dandreano of Ocala, Fla., and stepdaughter Leslie (Jeffrey) Callaway of Charleston, TN. Also one brother, Kenny Sizemore of Glen Daniel, 19 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mickey also leaves his loving pet “Matty”.
Services will be Wednesday, December 5, at 3:00 pm at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Arolette Stover officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
