Agnes Lahman Blackburn, 83, of Stanaford, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011. Born November 2, 1927 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Mary Steele Beasley. Agnes was a retired dietitian for the Arlington County Hospital in Arlington, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Blackburn; children, Fannie, Fern, Ida Jean, Mack, Donnie Dale and Leonard Davis Blackburn; grandson, Dave Blackburn, Jr.; 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Annetta Allen and Alice Marie Harrah both of Stanaford, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Reed of Meadow Bridge, WV.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Vondie L. Cook, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call at the mausoleum from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.
